Forbes Traveler named Atlantic City as having the Boardwalk with the best arcades.
Now, notice that this isn't a best boardwalk list -- best boardwalk arcades (Wildwood, Ocean City, Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant are on the list, too, in that Jersey order).
We could argue endlessly which beach has the best boardwalk because there's so many criteria we could use: arcades, rides, food, family friendly, beach bars, even peace and quiet (hi Avalon!)
I've been thinking about boardwalks this week since I'm going boardwalk bike riding with my dad on Sunday. We haven't picked which boardwalk yet. I'm leaning toward an all-over-town ride since bikes are kicked off the boardwalks mid-morning. Asbury Park has a Bike Church, and we are riding on a Sunday...
If you had to pick, where would you go?

I always loved reading the shirts along Wildwood's boardwalk. It seems as though every time something newsworthy occurred, that's what the shirts were based from.
It would have to be Ocean City at this point. I used to love Wildwood as a kid but its way to overcrowded at this point and there are to many incidents on that boardwalk. Ocean City has great stores, great rides for the kids and great food.
A second vote for Ocean City. There is also a good breakfast place right on the north end of the boardwalk called Ove (I think).

Jen, OC boardwalk would be a great choice- although I'm sure it will be crowded sunday morning. Remember to be done by noon- they kick all bikes off at 12.
