UNREAL

Please excuse the diversion from all things shore, but the Phils are in the playoffs for the first time since 1993. I was in seventh grade in 1993. This was a magical moment.

I lived in Philly in 1993. I couldn't shake my love for the Red Sox, but the Phanatic is the funniest mascot in baseball. I'm excited that the Phillies are in the playoffs just so I can see him again :)

Happy doesn't even begin to describe it. I've gotten nothing done today . . . (check my blog. You'll see what's on my mind).

God, I was a 5th-year senior in college in the fall of 1993 (I was a co-op student, so I took 5 years to graduate). Mitch Williams giving up that home run to Joe Carter was the least surprising big moment in MLB history. Let's hope the Phils do a little better this time.
