The creative folks at the Asbury Park Boardwalk have put together a knock out app for the iPhone and iPad. I played with it over the weekend, and as someone who has spent a good deal of time in Asbury but don't live there, it's incredibly helpful. The best part for me is the events listing. Since I don't live nearby, I have to make a special trip up to Asbury, and by scrolling through the app, I can plan ahead.

It's a nice app, and I'm sure it will be updated and expanded, but the absence of the city's greatest music venue, The Saint, is a glaring omission.
