Wawa Coffee Price Jump

Why am I writing about the new $.06 Wawa coffee price increase on a Jersey Shore blog? Because I, like a lot of people, rely on Wawa when I'm down the shore.

When you're temporarily landing in a place (or living away from home like I was while writing my book), it’s the best place to get anything you’ll need, things like the newspaper, lunch and breakfast sandwiches, snacks, ice cream and coffee. It's also where a lot of people go to satisfy post-drinking cravings and morning hangovers. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything (there's a Wawa right down the street from the OD if that's any indication).

I used to get Wawa coffee every morning on the way to work, until I stopping going to work and freelanced from home. I save a lot of money (and time) by making coffee at home. Six cents might not seem like a lot, but when you hit Wawa once or twice a day? Looks like I'll be bringing the coffee maker with me to the shore this year.

Never had Wawa coffee - least not normal coffee from there. (I have seemingly, had everything else there is to try.)

I love the selection of coffee carafes at the larger stores. 20 different kinds sometimes.

Either way, when I get the chance, I go to Wawa for the Hoagie Zone and the Icees. (Long-live crappy willpower!)

When "on your way to the shore" I recommend a stop at a new coffee shop in downtown Hammonton, Casciano Coffee Bar & Sweetery, where the coffee is fresh and delicious, the sweets are exceptional and the service will make you feel at home... There are a lot of nice finds in this up and coming downtown that finds itself exactly 1/2 way from Philadelphia to AC...on Rt 54... also minutes from Rt. 206, Rt. 30 and 322!!
